This ACA European Policy Seminar addresses a wide range of crisis scenarios in international higher education, from political incidents, to health hazards and natural disasters, unexpected accidents and individual tragedies, and possible responses by universities when faced with such crises. It is not a new, but it is certainly a newly relevant area of concern in Europe's higher education, accompanied by the need for exchange of information and experiences. We aim to provide this exchange at European level and beyond with the help of experienced and astute speakers from Europe and the US who will share first-hand experiences and practical takeaways.
