Lump sums for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships significantly increased

It´s the best time to attract excellent PostDocs to your research group. Don´t miss the oppportunity!

The MSCA Executive Agency has announced an increase of Living allowances for PostDocs coming to Austira as well as a significantly higher total budget for the funding schemes "MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships" and "Doctoral Networkls".

We are happy to announce positive news in the funding programme Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships:

  • The Living Allowance has been increased by 18% and the Country correlation coeficient for Austria has been increased by 3.4% which resulted in a significant lowering the salary gap which was the BOKU facing the last decade

  • The overall budget for Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 has been increased by 60% (valid only for the call 2024!) which will allow to fund a significantly higher number of projects

Taking into account the above-mentioned facts, we can after many years recommend to actively attract incoming postdocs for this funding. Please, be aware that the increased salaries will apply only for the newly funded projects, running projects will unfortunately continue without changes.
