The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programme "Sustainability in Agriculture, Food Production and Food Technology in the Danube Region" (Danube AgriFood Master – DAFM) focuses on sustainable development as competent response to the upcoming challenges of climate change and protection and promotion of livelihoods. It uses the Danube region as a model region for all riparian regions worldwide. Understanding the intercultural and regional aspects of sustainable agriculture and food technology is crucial in finding viable pathways to long-term success in Central and Eastern European agriculture. This joint Master's programme will give students the opportunity to improve their knowledge and grow their skill set with regard to the intercultural and social aspects, anthropic landscape and natural resources of sustainability in agriculture and the food industry in the Danube region.

Students from European countries are very welcome to apply until 30 April 2024 for a scholarship within this programme. Scholarship students receive a monthly scholarship of 1400 EUR for max. 24 months.

Mobility track:
1st study year: at MATE (Hungary) or CZU (Czech Republic)
2nd study year: at UNIZG (Croatia), UNS (Serbia), BOKU (Austria) or ULST (Romania)

  • Please note: If BSc candidates have not finished their Bachelor study yet but are planning to finish in June/July 2024, they are welcome to apply and they can submit their BSc documents later.
