Call for NORISK EMJM

The NORISK EMJM is a prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Course designed to address the critical need for professionals with a solid foundation in risk assessment and management within the context of civil infrastructures. This program stands out for its highly specialized curriculum and multidisciplinary approach.

Program Overview:
Duration: One academic year (60 ECTS)
Dual-degree structure: Master’s degree awarded by two partner Universities (30 ECTS each)
Rotating program among esteemed partners
Possibility of being involved within a secondment in several of the Associated Partners
Language of instruction and examinations: English

Minho University (Coordinator, Portugal); La Rochelle University (France); Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy); and Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (Spain);
BOKU University is associate partner of this programme.

Key Focus Areas:
The NORISK EMJM emphasizes advanced knowledge and skills in assessment, management, reliability, and risk analysis. Participants will be equipped to address the intricacies of monitoring, digitalization, and intervention on civil infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on sectors such as energy, transport, communications, water, health, defense, national security, banking, and financial services.
