The AEMS summer school offers a new wave of economic thinking for those looking for an alternative to the current ‘boom and bust’ nature of the world order. The GBS summer program provides world-leading insight into sustainable architecture and the built environment.

Green.Building.Solutions (GBS)

GBS brings together the latest thinking in sustainable architecture and building science. It takes place in Vienna, the capital of energy efficient construction.

GBS provides a unique opportunity for professionals and students alike to strengthen their knowledge and gain a career advantage in the field of sustainability – an area of increasing global significance. The three-week program’s teaching and all associated social activities are carried out in English and the course is of appeal to – but not limited to – those working in and studying architecture, construction management, project management, building engineering and surveying. The GBS summer university takes place from July 21 to August 12, 2018. Find more information about GBS here and here. Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS)

The unique AEMS summer school provides an exciting opportunity to learn, debate and understand a different approach to "think for the future".

Held in Vienna, the heartland of the Economy for the Common Good* social movement – which provides a framework for the content – the two-and-a-half week-long course attracts a broad audience including undergraduate and post graduate students, as well as people with interests and careers in politics, philosophy, economics and finance.

All teaching and associated social activities are carried out in English and last year 54 participants from 30 countries took part, collaborating, investigating and debating how economic, political, monetary and environmental factors need to be changed to be more sustainable.

The AEMS summer school takes place from July 25 to August 10, 2018.
