Markus Eitle von der Abteilung Wein- und Obstbau, Department für Nutzpflanzenwissenschaften gewinnt zwei Preise als Jahrgangsbester Masterstudent an der TU München.

Dipl. Ing. Markus Eitle, currently PhD student at the Department of Crop Sciences, Division of Viticulture and Pomology (supervisor: Astrid Forneck, Michaela Griesser) graduated as best student of his year at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the international Erasmus Mundus Master of Horticultural Sciences. He was rewarded by the Bundesverband der Hochschulabsolventen/Ingenieure Gartenbau und Landschaftsarchitektur e.V. (BHGL) and won a price sponsored by the Haus der bayerischen Landwirtschaft Herrsching.

Markus  has been working on stress metabolites in grapevine  in the Viticulture and Pomology Group at UFT and ist now pursuing his phd degree studying the effectors for a compatible grape phylloxera (Daktulosphaira vitifoliae) – Vitis spp. interaction.
