Conference “RURAL DEVELOPMENT 2017: Bioeconomy Challenges “,at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University (www.asu.lt ) in Kaunas, Lithuania, 23–24th November, 2017
This conference is aimed at providing interdisciplinary scientific discussion, presenting new ideas for rural development processes in the context of Bioeconomy, Innovations and Social Progress.
The main topics of parallel sessions:
- Agro-innovations and Food Technologies;
- Biosystems Engineering and Environment Integrity;
- Multifunctional Approach for Sustainable Use of Bio-Resources;
- Social Innovations for Rural Development.
Political Forum “European Union Rural Development Policy after 2020” will be held during the Conference

Papers submission online
The papers that fulfil the requirements will be published in the Proceedings of the 8th International Scientific conference “Rural Development 2017” (ISSN 1822-3230). The Proceedings will be referred in database of ISI Conference Proceedings and in Business Source Complete (EBSCO).
Registration fee will amount to: for delegates – until September 30th – 200 EUR; after September 30th – 250 EUR; for accompanying person – 150 EUR.
(Registration fee covers the Conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunch and gala dinner. The costs of accommodation, cultural (social) programme and transport should be covered by the participants of the Conference.)
We are very pleased to announce additional competition in the themes of the conference. All participants will be able to send photos (one participant – one photo) in the theme of Bioeconomy registering to the conference. The best photos will take place in exhibition during the conference and will be awarded.
