This workshop is organised as a side event to the European Week of Regions and Cities 2016 by the Danube Strategy Point together with the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the Directorate-General Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. It will take place in Brussels on October, 13th. After five years of implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region there is actually joint support from the participating countries as well as a strategic need for review of the results and an evaluation of the added value of the Strategy. With experts and key stakeholders the workshop will take stock of the achievements, identify challenges of measuring the results and consider the benefits of a monitoring system in the macro-regional context.
