One of the greatest challenges facing the world is how to build a better sustainable development model.

Universities have always had a major role in behavior changes. Again, they are being actors of this new sustainable path.

The objective of the conference is to define an agenda and alliance to foster and implement policies to support Universities to be central actors in a sustainability ambition. Sustainability embraces a broad set of topics on campuses (building renovation, waste and water treatment, smart mobility, food quality, new training content,…) which will play a determinant role in a transformative social change. This interdisciplinary approach will bring most like-minded partners together to focus on common goals, provide a framework that supports better sustainability in universities.

This two-days conference will contribute to a better understanding among stakeholders about which opportunities the SUN project does consist of. Also, it will be the opportunity to meet the world-famous economist Jeremy Rifkin who agreed to provide his feedback about this initiative.

Participation is free of charge. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided from and into English, and French.

If you wish to participate we kindly ask you to register until the 15th of November 2014 via the website:
