BOKU The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, the Alma Mater Viridis, sees itself as an education and research centre for renewable resources, which are a necessity for human life. ICA-CASEE

On initiative of BOKU Vienna, 30 Life Science Universities in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Ukraine and Austria founded the CASEE Network in 2010. The aims of network are to support the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube region, in particular to strengthen research, education and university development in this region.
