ÖGMBT Annual Meeting: Life Sciences for the Next Generation

12-140916, Universität Graz The ÖGMBT Annual Meeting is the largest Life Science event in Austria connecting scientists, students and corporate representatives to share their knowledge and visions in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics. Our aim is to provide the best possible environment and atmosphere for data and topic exchange, establishing new career networks and we especially encourage young scientists to participate and submit abstracts of their research work. Main topics Lipid Metabolism, Disorders and Cancer / Ageing and Neurodegeneration / Enzymes and Nanomachines / Secretion Systems / Infectious Diseases and Novel Treatments / Microbiota Today / Systems and Synthetic Biology / Single Molecules and Membranes A special session, termed “Young Scientists Austria” is intended to provide a forum for the international PhD programs at the three participating Universities in Graz. The main program will be accompanied by parallel satellite sessions “Translational Oncology - from basics to translational” and “Biophysics”.
