Rector Schulev-Steindl used the CASEE conference in Moldova for talks on intensifying BOKU cooperation in the Danube region.

The conference was held in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, from June 28 to 30, 2023. Discussions were held with CZU Prague and the Agricultural University of Cluj-Napoca (USAMV), Romania. 

At the UTM (Universitatea Tehnica a Moldovei, https://utm.md/, which "took over" the State Agricultural University Moldova last year) there are interesting opportunities for BOKU to cooperate in the fields of viticulture/enology, entrepreneurship, digitalization/AI as well as agricultural and economic sciences. Furthermore, considerations for the further development of the CASEE network were discussed - the results will be presented at the next CASEE conference from 19 - 21 June 2024 at USAMV Romania.
