University of the Future: an Evening with Arjen Wals and Verena Winiwarter

Guest professor Arjen Wals, Wageningen University, and Verena Winiwarter, Institute of Social Ecology, will discuss some of their thoughts with Charlotte Voigt, ÖH BOKU. Welcome address by Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, Christian Obinger. CDR partner Georg Gratzer, Institute of Forest Ecology, will lead you through the evening.

Arjen Wals is professor of transformative learning for sustainability at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. He also holds the UNESCO Chair of Social Learning and Sustainable Development. Read the latest news in his blog! Verena Winiwarter is an environmental historian and served as dean of the Faculty for Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Klagenfurt. She is now professor at BOKU's Institute of Social Ecology and was Austria's scientist of the year in 2013.
