It is highly recommended to contact the head of BOKU-International Relations at least half a year before the project application deadline, to plan the educational project application and funding options in the best possible way.

During the phase of writing the project application, the BOKU-International Relations assists the institutes with:

  • Consultancy with regard to regulations and budget rules foreseen by the different educational programmes
  • Proof-reading of applications
  • Providing standard information text to describe BOKU in general
  • Contact to partner universities (e.g. for the letter of intent required)

As soon as the project application is finalised in the core parts (particularly with regard to the budget including a detailed description of the BOKU-input required) , the BOKU-International Relations arranges for the required signatures by the BOKU Rectorate and returns the project documents to the Institute.

The institute is kindly requested to keep the BOKU-International Relations informed about the results of the project application.

As soon as a project was funded, the institute is required to insert it as educational project in the FIS (research database).

For interim and final reports, the signature of the Rectorate is again organised by the BOKU-International Relations.

For research projects, the BOKU research support office provides assistance
