You can only apply online, when you have found a place at a department/institute at BOKU. The Learning Agreement for Traineeships has to be signed before.

The symbols on bottom of this website you lead you to the different department pages (mobile devices: please check the menu).

Choose the departments you are interested in. At most department homepages you will find several institutes.
Please contact either the secretariat of the institute you are interested in or also the head of the institute (e-mail with motivation letter + cv).

Another possibility would be to contact BOKU's departmental Erasmus+ coordinator, who is in charge of your study area (e-mail with motivation letter + cv)

Maybe your teacher at the home university could help you with their contacts at BOKU.

When you have found a placement at BOKU, you have to fill in a Learning Agreement for Traineeships. Your home university should provide you with a form. Otherwise you can also download a form here.

The Learning Agreement for Traineeships has to be signed by you, your home university and the institute/department at BOKU, where you do the placement.

  1. Discuss the goals and activities of your traineeship with your supervisor at BOKU (phone, e-mail,...) and fill in the Learning Agreement for Traineeships.
  2. Send the Learning Agreement for Traineeships to your supervisor at BOKU and ask him to have it signed and stamped by the person in charge at the department/institute and to send it back to you.
  3. Have the Learning Agreement for Traineeships signed and stamped at your home university.
  4. Scan the signed Learning Agreement for Traineeships (1 pdf). You have to upload it, when you do the online application (with your signature + signature home university + signature BOKU institute/department)
