Media that can be borrowed

The main part of the main library stock can be borrowed. The status can be seen after login into BOKU:LITsearch.


Media that cannot be borrowed

These media are only for local use in the library. In the reading rooms they are marked with a red label.

These include:

-General and subject specific reference works
-Bound and unbound periodicals
-Diploma and master thesis from the year of publication 2008 (from 2008 on there are no legal deposits available at the Austrian National Library)
-Works published before 1900
-Special valuable works
-Norms and patent specifications
-Large-sized books
-Loose-leaf editions
-Other works marked as „Nicht Entlehnbar”/”not loanable“
