Poster Preis für Diplomandin des VIRIS-Labors

Johanna Irrgeher Bakk.techn., Diplomandin am Department für Chemie, Abteilung für Analytische Chemie, VIRIS Labor, wurde für ihren Posterbeitrag zur diesjährigen „European Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry” in Graz (15.-20. Februar 2009) mit dem „3rd place – poster award“ ausgezeichnet.

Unter dem Titel „87Sr/86Sr Isotope Ratio Measurements by Laser Ablation – Multiple Collector – Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry: A Study of Mass Discrimination and Matrix-induced Interferences in Calcium phosphate and carbonate matrices” präsentierte sie einen Teil ihrer Diplomarbeit und durfte sich über einen Gewinn von €300 freuen. Johanna Irrgeher wird sich bald auch im Zuge ihrer Dissertation im VIRIS Labor dem Thema Strontiumisotopie mittels (MC)-ICP-MS widmen.
