Apply now: Summer School in Thailand

This is a unique opportunity for BOKU students to learn about transitions towards sustainable management of natural resources.

What makes a good life? How much is enough? Managing land and water sustainably is a big challenge. Thailand is implementing a new model of a rural sufficiency economy. We will analyse this model and ask how we can make a larger shift to a sustainable agricultural system. Join us now and be part of a real-life educational opportunity on sustainability transitions. You will work in interdisciplinary teams with Asian participants, farmers, and stakeholders in Sakon Nakhon Province to explore opportunities of a sufficiency economy. Find further details on the application procedure on BOKUonline, Course No.169.004. Deadline for applications: 31st March 2016 The Summer School is jointly organized by the BOKU-Centre for Development Research (CDR), Kasetsart University (Thailand), Royal University of Agriculture (Cambodia) and Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia).
