Lehrinhalt

Sustainable Food Systems: This module uses food as a prism to address key critical questions on resource shortfalls, environmental pressures and social development. In this context, the topic of urban, peri-urban and regional dynamics in the context of food systems will be introduced.

Food and the City: Understanding the New Urban Foodscapes: This module focuses on the food systems in the city. It summarizes the research agenda on food relocations: early enthusiasm for local food networks, a growing awareness of the fragility of these initiatives and the recent re-scaling of food policy at the local level.
