2nd Global Conference of the One Planet SFS Programme

Save the date for the 2nd global conference of the UN One Planet (10YFP) Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme, ‘Good Food for People and the Planet - Working together towards 2030’, taking place on 5-7 February 2019, in San José, Costa Rica.

The purpose of the conference will be to strengthen strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships with key food system actors and donors at all levels; bring about widely supported, science-based and actionable recommendations; stimulate higher levels of investments; and trigger increased political commitment for the creation of enabling policy environments for sustainable food systems. These topics will be explored through a mix of informative and interactive formats, with different opportunities for participants to present and discuss their work. There will also be a dedicated session to announce high-level commitments for shifting towards more sustainable food systems in support of the SDGs.
