KTP Associate in project between Elsoms Seeds Ltd. & University of Cranfield

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate on a 30-month collaborative project between Elsoms Seeds Ltd. and BOKU’s partner university, the Cranfield University. This project aims to develop more efficient bulk seed storage processes and seed ‘health’ monitoring capabilities within Elsoms Seeds Ltd. by fully understanding what influences the quality, germination and vigour of seeds. The successful candidate will also enjoy a personal £5,000 development budget.

This UK programme is an opportunity for a recently graduated MSc (from anywhere in the world) as provides all necessary training in project management and then technological skills are gained through collaboration with the University of Cranfield. The researcher will be mainly working for, with and at the company, Elsoms Seeds Ltd.  Elsoms Seeds Ltd. is the UK’s leading independent breeder and supplier of agricultural and vegetable seeds. A large part of their business is focused on seed treatments and using innovative seed technology and processing to provide the highest quality of seed to their customers.
