The academic program of the ISARA-Lyon International Summer School consists of lectures, case studies, field work, excursions (fish pond landscape, mixed crop livestock systems in mountains areas and conservation biological control in vegetal production), use of geographical information system, economics, agronomy and ecology, traditional food systems, local food supply chains, personal research study. Furthermore there will be a linguistic and cultural program. The 5-week course is for 9 ECTS; 6 for satisfying the scientific requirements and 3 for the linguistic/cultural studies.
