Summer School “Conducting a Life Cycle Assessment: From the theory to practical applications”, 3rd-7th July, 2017 in Santiago de Compostela (Spain)


In the pursue of sustainability, LCA is a useful and standardized methodology that allows addressing the impacts of a given activity. Due to its holistic perspective taking into account all the stages from
a cradle to grave approach, LCA evaluates the potential impacts related to any economic activity including raw material extraction and processing, distribution, retailing, wholesaling, use or consumption, re-use, recycling, and final disposal. In this framework, the course is mainly oriented to MSc and PhD students who want to achieve a higher degree of specialisation in LCA topics.

The deadline for the pre-registration  is 2nd May 2017. We expect to communicate the acceptance of
participants by 12th May 2017.

Registration Fee: 100€ (Includes accommodation, breakfast, lunches, coffee breaks, guided tours and gala dinner. Travel expenses are not included)
