The aim of this Staff Training is to welcome both non-teaching and teaching staff from partner institutions and to share experiences with regard to the following theme:

Various digital tools have been worked out at Ghent University to optimize the process of internationalisation in different areas: grade conversion, inter-institutional quality review, the integration of (exchange) student applications, housing applications (halls of residence), business intelligence platform, …

In addition, a student-friendly online study guide has been developed.

For more information about this, we also refer to the platform IMOTION

We are convinced that the topic of digitalization in internationalisation is an important concern for universities and we would welcome any discussion on how partner institutions deal with these issues. This can happen in any possible format: in the form of presentations, workshops, round tables, ….

Important notice: our partners from the U4 University Network will also contribute to the staff week.

If you’re interested to join the staff week, please send an e-mail

The deadline for application is 9 December 2016, mid December the list with the selected participants and a detailed programme will be published.
