The Department of Food Science at Cornell University is beginning a search for an Assistant Professor of Wine Microbiology. The position will have a 50/50 research teaching split, with a Summer 2017 start date (subject to negotiation).

In addition to candidates with a PhD in Enology, they are also receptive to candidates without prior experience in wine, but with degrees in Food Science, Microbiology, Biological or Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields. Further information
