The Spanish Program ESTO (Spanish in Toledo) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) is an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes that will teach an Intensive Summer Spanish Language and Culture Course for all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-A2-B1-B2-C1) along 4 weeks, with 80 teaching hours and a cultural program that includes 10 leisure and educational activities, in Toledo.  Other facilities such as material, private medical insurance, 24-hour emergency attention, welcome and closing party, are also included.

This course certificates an equivalence of 8 ECTS Credits, taught by specialized teachers in Spanish as a foreign language. Information and pictures about the intensive summer course.

To this course can enrol students, teachers, researchers and staff management that want to realize an immersion in the Spanish language and culture in order to improve their skills in this language.

As BOKU has an international signed ERASMUS+ mobility agreement with the UCLM, BOKU members will have a discount of 10% over the official price of matriculation. In the REGISTRATION  they must write in the section “observations”: CONVENIO UCLM, and indicate their home institution.

The final price of the 4-week course, including the academic and cultural program and the other facilities, with the discount, is 720 €. For those who want, as optional service, they also have the possibility to choose accommodation (family or residence) and some external excursions.

The course will take place in an emblematic place, the Old Town of Toledo, city declared World Heritage by UNESCO and which also is the Gastronomic Capital of Spain in 2016. Among them, this year it commemorates the 400 anniversary since Miguel de Cervantes’s death.  Therefore, this is an excellent year to come to Toledo.
