CommTECH Camp  is an opportunity for university students, academics, and
professionals from all over the world to learn about community and global
issues through a variety of fun activities. The program will include Indonesian language course, learning traditional music and dances,  making your own batik and for sure tasting delicious Indonesian food. The program also includes some visit to Surabaya Community, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and main tourist destinations in East Java.

The aim of the event is to facilitate a broad opportunity to better understand ITS's expertises and technology implementation in the society while visiting, discovering, and experiencing Indonesia's diverse heritage and culture. It will also open up an opportunity to exchange ideas and develop a mutual vision for the future of our global world.

The theme of the event is “Solving Local Problems with Global Knowledge”.

In addition to CommTECH programs, ITS is also happily organize a customized short – course program for minimum 10 participants based on spesific request of our international partners. The schedule, the content and the fee of the program can be tailored to suit your requirements. You can choose to combine Indonesian language course with particular learning areas such as tropical architecture, disaster management, supply chain management, local economic development, sustainable production, softskill and leadership developments and so on.
