Conference „Sustainability of Rural Areas in Practice“, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia), December 3-4, 2015

The conference  is supported by the OECD Co-operative Research Programme on  Biological Resource Management for Sustainable Agricultural  Systems.  

Objective of the conference  is: to introduce new creative approaches to deal with the key issues of rural  areas development, to define new directions and offer  practical examples for rural development, to present common  and specific challenges and solutions and to formulate  recommendations for policy makers and institutions.

The discussion will be focused on following topics:

1. New  approaches to revitalization of rural economy and rural  communities,
2. New  environmental approaches in management of rural landscape,  
3. Agricultural  land and spatial  planning.
