The study was conducted by the European University Association between October and December 2013. Based on a membership survey, it provides information on the different types of e-learning used by European universities, their experiences in this area and their expectations for the future. A section of the report is dedicated to MOOCs and highlights some presents trends regarding how universities perceive them strategically and intend to develop them.
