Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Mitigation is a 15 ECTS online course based on the brand new Fifth Assessment Report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The course is offered by a team of international experts from the University of Copenhagen, the Danish Meteorological Institute, the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Essex, including four co-authors from IPCC.

The aim of the course is to give you a solid understanding of climate change impacts, and provide you with the knowledge and tools to devise effective and cost-effective strategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation on a global, sectorial and local scale.

Teaching is based on highly flexible E-learning modules with weekly deadlines, starting with two introduction days on the 4th and 5th of September 2014, and you can follow the course from everywhere in the world.

The tuition fee for continuing education students is 12.750 DKK for EU citizens and other citizens with permanent residence permit in Denmark (corresponds to approximately 1.700 €) and 26.850 DKK for non-EU citizens (corresponds to approximately 3.600 €).

 
The application deadline is the 4th of August 2014, but since the places are limited and the course is very popular, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible in order to secure your place on the course.
