Young European Citizens' Convention, Cluny Abbey (France), 10 - 20 July 2014
The Young European Citizens' Convention for European citizens and citizens living outside the yellow starred blue box who like to debate about the future of Europe - this is a very special get-together with over 50 participants from all over Europe and beyond.
This year the Convention's theme will be §Equality? Discrimination? Inclusion? A place for everyone in the European Union§ and will start off with speeches and follow-up panels by Cecile Kienge (Italian Minister of Integration) and Nicolas Kazadi (Chief economist of the UNDP in Togo), amongst others. As the convention proceeds, negotiation skills will be trained which then may be used to elaborate an answer to the intriguing question on the basis of Open Space debates.
