First time in Vienna and Austria? Uncertain of how to navigate different cultural norms and customs?
The new course "Intercultural competence - Acting effectively in an international environment" (3 ECTS, BOKU course number 120999) will provide you with a toolkit to react to new cultural situations and will also aid you in using your intercultural experience as an advantage in your future career. Based on active participation, the course will give you an understanding of how different cultures work through discussions with other students, literature work, reflective online tasks and project work.
You will meet other students, some who have studied abroad and just returned with new experiences; who, like you, are currently at BOKU for an exchange semester; and others who will be studying abroad in the future.
