How to apply at BOKU

To get the joint degree at the end, students have to be enrolled at BOKU as full degree students.

That means that you have to follow the normal application procedure at BOKU.
Please read the information there carefully and download the application form!
As NARMEE student with BOKU as host university you only need to send the following documents

  • bachelor certificate
  • transcript of Records (index stating subjects and marks)
  • admission letter to the programme "Master of Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering" at Lincoln University (= special university qualification)
  • Evidence of English knowledge (not necessary, if native or if BSC programme totallly taught in English )

Please be aware that as Non-EU/EEA NARMEE student from LU with BOKU as host university, your documents do NOT need a legal authentification. Copies are sufficient.

Deadline for submission at BOKU: June 30 for the next winter semester (study start October), November 30 for next summer semester (study start February)

Please be aware that Non-EU/EEA citizens also need a visa or residence permit.
According to a special agreement New Zealand citizens can stay in Austria up to 90 days without visa. After leaving the Schengen area (even for a weekend) the period of 90 days will start again. For further questions on the visa issue, please contact André Hackelberg.

She is also in charge of the reimbursement of the travel costs to BOKU for LU NARMEE students.
Please fill in the reimbursement form and submit it upon arrival together with your invoice/ e-ticket and your boarding card. If you have questions on the reimbursement, please also contact André Hackelberg.
