How to get there by car

Take the A 4 (the "Ostautobahn") in the direction of Prague (Praha). Exit the A4 at the Nordbrücke in direction of the City Center. Follow the signs to the City Center until you have crossed both bridges over the Danube and Danube canal. Then when you are travelling parallel to the Danube Canal in direction of the city center make a right at the first possibility in direction of Höhenstrasse and Döbling. Make another right at the traffic lights. You are now on Muthgasse. Pass the VW car dealer. The next building is the University Research Center Muthgasse.

How to get there by public transport

By far the fastest connection is to take the "U-Bahn" (subway) Line U4. Make sure you get on U4 in direction of "HEILIGENSTADT" and take U4 all the way to the terminal station Heiligenstadt. Currently construction work at the terminal Heiligenstadt is making navigation more difficult.  Please exit the station in direction of the exit Mooslackengasse/Muthgasse currently secured by a wood constuction. A pedestrian tunnel and walkway will take you to the intersection Mooslackengasse/Muthgasse. Turn RIGHT at the intersection and follow Muthgasse in downtown direction for approx. 200 m. Cross the street to the left side of Muthgasse. The University building is at Muthgasse18.

Another possibility is to take tram line D in direction of Nußdorf. Get off at Barawitzkagasse. Turn right onto Gunoldstrase. Follow Gunoldstrasse under the railway bridge to the first traffic lights. Turn left onto Muthgasse. Follow Muthgasse over the first traffic lights. Cross Muthgasse onto the right side. The first building after the VW car dealer is the University building at Muthgasse 18.
