The key topic “aquatic ecosystem services in urbanised landscapes” will be developed and discussed from three scientific perspectives. The workshop will be introduced by a keynote lecture from an internationally renowned expert on scenarios of global development and future challenges of our society. The keynote lecture will be followed by 2 presentations on ecosystem services and urbanised landscapes that will enlighten our understanding of the workshop theme. In addition, participants will contribute short comments (“spotlights”) from different perspectives (science, society, politics, etc.).
