Opportunity for collaboration

The Research Centre AgroBioTech will be equipped with a cutting-edge research infrastructure, thereby enabling the implementation of the research at the international level, applicable in practice and consistency with the core needs of the priority themes in agrobiology, biotechnology, genetic technology, agri-food, technology of processing of agricultural products, agroecology, bioenergy and bioeconomy. The scope of the research cooperation with Visegrad University Association (VUA) partners could include applied research and/or preparation of joint research projects within the EU projects schemes such as Horizon 2020, 7FP and national research schemes in the area of applied research in plant and animal biotechnology, bioclimatology, chemistry and biochemistry, agronomy, horticulture, genetics, bioeconomy, biodiversity and related topics. The newly established research centre would be a unique opportunity for doctoral and post­ doctoral students, university researches and experts who could verify the theoretical knowledge learned at their horne universities. lt is proposed that three main schemes would be used as funding resources: - the national scholarship schemes in particular countries - the Horizon 2020 scheme Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions - Research Fellowship Programme http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/index_en.htm Deadline: 280415 - the Slovak Academic Information Agency schemes for foreign applicants http://www.saia.sk/en
