& Awards Ceremony of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Prizes

18-191114, Trento On the occasion of the Italian EU Presidency Conference on Empowering the Next Generation of Researchers, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions will hold its second Awards Ceremony of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Prizes. This year there will be three categories: - Promising Research Talent (only for ITN fellows) - Communicating Science (open to everybody) - Nurturing Research Talents (open to experienced researchers) The contest is open for all FP7 MSCA Fellows and alumni. More information on how to apply, and the eligibility criteria, is available here. In addition, we take this opportunity to inform you that it is now possible to pre-register to attend the abovementioned Italian EU Presidency conference. The focus will be on researcher training, recruitment and career development. Key aspects to be considered include skills, mobility, and gender issues, as well as the interaction between academia and industry. The conference will highlight the roles of policy-makers, funders and businesses in research training, working together with universities and research institutions. The participants will gather for one-and-a-half days at the premises of the University of Trento, for a programme featuring high-level speakers that represent the wide range of stakeholders concerned.
