Conservation, utilization and evolution in a changing climate                                              

International IUFRO Conference 15-210614, Fort Collins, CO, USA The 2014 meeting of the IUFRO 2.02.15 Breeding and Genetic Resources of Five-Needle Pines working group will continue in the tradition of the past meetings in the Russian Federation (2011), South Korea (2008), Romania (2006), and United States of America (2001) and the 1992 conference on subalpine stone pines (Switzerland) by facilitating international exchange of the latest findings on genetic variation, conservation and tree improvement efforts with this important group of conifers worldwide. Many of these species are vulnerable to a range of abiotic and biotic factors including climate change and blister rust.
