Mailing List

A mailing list, zid-numserv, was established to provide current information for all interested users. This should also help coordinate job orders so as to avoid simultaneous jobs which might need all resources available.

All users of this special purpose computer are asked to please register for this list and inform other users prior to launching "large" jobs. All mailing list members can send messages using this mailing list at any time.

All BOKU staff members may register and de-register from this list as and when required (opt-in and opt-out).

In order to register and de-register, please send an email to

Specifications for nona04 differ a little (as it is an older model).

There are no guaranteed machine times, no queuing by the ZID.
Mounting NFS shares is possible.
Software requests should be sent to the ZID (via hotline(at), the nodes are designed as computing nodes only!
