Assoc.Prof.in Diin Dr.in Doris Damyanovic took over the Vice Rectorate for Teaching, Continuing Education and Students at BOKU at the beginning of April, and the contract was signed on Monday.

Damyanovic is deputy head of the Institute of Landscape Planning and the Department of Space, Landscape and Infrastructure and has been working on gender-specific approaches in landscape and urban planning for more than 20 years.

The new vice rector studied landscape planning at BOKU and has been active in teaching and research here since 2002. In her dissertation, for which she received the Inge Dirmhirn Award, Doris Damyanovic dealt with gender-equitable planning processes using the example of a Carinthian municipality. In 2016 she received the Venia Docendi for landscape planning.
