Student status

There are essentially two ways to be admitted to a university.

There are two ways to attain student status a university. Only students with a general university entrance qualification are eligible for admission. Academic programmes can also be completed once all curriculum requirements are met.

Non-degree students may take individual courses.  These courses may only be counted towards a full academic programme if the student had no university qualification at the time that the course is taken. Non-degree  students may not complete an academic programme. Exception: Those participating in university courses are excepted.

Co-registration presents students with the opportunity  to take courses at a university other than the one at which they are enrolled, without having to register for an academic programme at that university.

Students may take a leave of absence of up to two semesters during the course of their studies.
