EDULIVE

The new EU-funded project “EDULIVE” aims to strengthen links between universities and the livestock sector in Argentina and Peru. The first training has been completed.

Dr. Maria Wurzinger of BOKU coordinates EDULIVE which is funded by the ERASMUS+ program. The project promotes the up-take of practical entrepreneurial experiences in higher education by improving the cooperation between universities and livestock sector actors.

We use selected sub-sectors as pilot cases (alpaca fiber and dairy in Peru, wool and sheep meat in Argentina).

In April 2016 the first training on how to integrate the needs of the livestock sector into learning at university was successfully implemented in Argentina by Dr. Lorenz Probst of the Centre for Development Research (BOKU).
