Pre-registration for studies

Economy Meets Environment

Presentations followed by a discussion on the topic "Why Do We Need Biodiversity? On the Value of Species Diversity": Dr. Hille, DI Kieninger, em. o. Biorefineries

White Biotechnology. More than 80 participants were highly interested in international trends, research and further plans of the BOKU Network for Bioconversion of Renewables presented in the course of a workshop on Oct. 27.

Plenary meeting

To protest against budget reductions, all Austrian universities organize plenary meetings on October 19th. All students, lectureres, researchers and staff members of the BOKU are invited to take part at the students campaigns (9:00 a.m.), the plenary meeting (2.00 p.m.), and the rally (3:30 p.m.). The afternoon is free of lectures.

Award for VIRIS Labor

Marion Brunner and Johanna Irrgeher received the award for "best presentations of emerging scientists" at the 22nd ICP-MS User Meeting 2010 in Berlin.
