The teachers and staff met their colleagues from the partner universities in the different Subject Areas, Support Teams and other groups to share their expertise and further develop joint activities. As the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW) will take over the chair of the network for the next 3 years, a new strategy was presented.  This strategy expands the basic aims of ELLS and includes research support as a new focus, next to concepts like entrepreneurship and diversity. Therefore the ELLS Board preliminary approved the new support team "Research support officers" which Elisabeth Denk from BOKU co-developed.

A joint session on Friday was devoted to the topic "Academic Quality, Entrepreneurship and Collaboration – how can they be combined?". Experts from Wageningen University and the University of Copenhagen gave valuable input on innovation and the golden triangle of entrepreneurship: knowledge, competences and personality.

The next ELLS Conference and Scientific Student Conference will take place at the University of Copenhagen,  November 16 to 18 2017.
