Section 1: Field experiments (design, analysis)
Planning and design of plant breeding field trials, randomized complete block design, generalized lattice design, statistical analysis (RCB, lattice, neighbour analysis, trend analysis, standard design, augmented design, analysis of series of experiments, estimation of heritability and trait correlations

Section 2: Quantitative genetics (heritability estimates, genetic and phenotypic correlation, response to selection, heterosis and general / specific combining ability, stability and G by E interaction, multi-trait selection procedures)

Section 3: Molecular genetic marker applications (genetic diversity, genetic distance, visualisation of diversity through clustering and other multivariate methods, genetic mapping basics, QTL-analysis basics, pedigree analysis)
