- Semester hours
- Lecturer (assistant)
- Stauffer, Christian
- Institute of Forest Entomology, Forest Pathology and Forest Protection (IFFF)
- Offered in
- Sommersemester 2018
- Languages of instruction
Scientific publications on molecular ecology i.e. phylogeography, phylogenetics, landscape genetics, evolution of genes and evolution of trophic levels will be presented by students and discussed.
- Previous knowledge expected
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Students will get acquainted how molecular techniques like sequencing, fragment analysis and genome analysis are used for answering complex ecological questions like diapause behaviour or different reaction towards pheromone traps.
This shall help that students can apply this knowledge for their future works.
You can find more details like the schedule or information about exams on the course-page in BOKUonline.
