Introduction to programming; solving problems (includes the use of flow diagrams); writing a programme (FORTRAN 77) and running it on the computer.

The seminar aims to teach the students the basic principles of programming, particularly approaches to the analysis of a problem, transmission numerical algorithms and formulation in the programming language Fortran77.
