- Previous knowledge expected
We receommend parallel attandence of course 911.336 (Soil Pollution and Remediation) as in this will provide theoretical information and an overview on the topic..
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Introduction to research techniques and methods for the development of novel, cost-efficient, sustainable in situ remediation technology for contaminated soils and sediments. The emphasis is on phytoremediation, chemical in-situ fixation using soil amendments and natural attenuation.
