The seminar is divided into two elements: a) presentation and b) introduction to scientific work.

We are aiming at, that students can finish their work within one semester. To guarantee that the students can present their work at least once, we arranged three meetings per semester. We expect that the students will give a presentation of 15 min. (ppt or comparable format) and a posterpresentation. Both presentations have to be sent to ulrich.mueller@boku.ac.at. The presentation is followed by a discussion (duration depending on how many students will present their work). Attending the discussion and the seminar is demanded. Posters will be used to document ongoing master theses at the institute.

Therefore, the master seminar has two relevant elements: a) presentation of own works (ppt and poster) and b) support for scientific work. Within the seminar the students should be supported by doing their scientific work. In an open discussion questions concerning research design, sample preparation, test set-ups, scientific writing, etc. should be clarified.

Seminar will be held in English
