The processes behind the three large problems - air pollution, stratospheric ozone depletion and anthropogenic climate change - are presented, the causes, impacts and possible measured are discussed. Problems from the local to the global scale, from the past, the present and the future are included.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
The aim of the lecture is to develop or deepen the understanding of atmospheric environmental problems and to set them in a larger context. Students should be able to evaluate the importance of environmental issues in their own work and daily life. They should be able to assess the validity or likelihood of reports published in the media.
